They have their passports or other ID cards taken away. They do not get paid for their labor. They live with their employers or live with a number of other people in a crowded, unhygienic environment. They are rarely alone and seem to be monitored all of the time. They have signs of physical abuse, such as wounds, burns, or bruises. They have to earn a specific amount of money or serve a specific number of clients every day. They exhibit submissive behavior. They have psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, or suicidal behaviors. They work at commercial properties(brothels, karaoke bars, clubs, massage services, etc.) with extreme security devices installed, such as windows with iron bars, locked doors, electronic surveillance devices, and or locations in isolated areas. They don't have a choice over sex buyers, types of sexual conduct, and or use of condoms. They are enslaved by debts.
