With aims to (1) strengthen an international network with anti-prostitution/sex trafficking organizations and (2) share activities of anti-prostitution/sex trafficking organizations over the world, Womens Human Rights Institute of Korea (WHRIK) asked Ruhama, one of the members of the Turn Off the Red Light (TORL) to write a paper with regard to a recent passage of the Sexual Offences Act 2017 that adopts a Nordic approach to prostitution.
Sarah Benson and Ruth Breslin from Ruhama kindly wrote the paper on how the Ireland government, the Turn Off the Red Light, Ruhama and other related organizations in Ireland made a long journey to this victory.
